A flavorful and healthy stir-fry made with tender chicken and a colorful array of fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
Stir-Fried Chicken and Vegetables
- Low in calories, high in protein and vitamins.
Directions
In a small bowl, prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced chicken breast. Stir-fry until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
Push the cooked chicken to one side of the wok or skillet. Add sliced bell peppers, sliced carrots, and broccoli florets to the other side. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and coats the ingredients.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds, if desired.
Serve the stir-fried chicken and vegetables over steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
