A fusion recipe combining the crispy skin of Peking duck with the bold flavors of Northern Indian spices.
Ingredients
Peking Duck – Northern Indian Inspired
- High in protein and rich in flavor.
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Rinse the duck inside and out, then pat dry with paper towels.
Mix Northern Indian spice blend (cumin, coriander, turmeric) with salt and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the duck, inside and out.
Place the duck on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
Roast the duck in the oven for 1.5 hours, rotating halfway through.
Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and roast for an additional 15 minutes to crisp up the skin.
Let the duck rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Serve with your favorite Indian bread and chutney.
