In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Add chicken pieces to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until cooked through and lightly browned.
Add string beans and sliced bell pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for additional 2 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
